Doing a search using the terms "church" and "vestments" will yield lots of relevant information. (This will include pre and post reformation.)
Be sure to include the names of specific protestant churches, priests, deacons, pieces of attire used at the time, etc. to bring the results closer to your subjects of interest.
JSTOR, Omnifile and especially WorldCat are all good places to start with this query.
