Hi Judy. We do have a membership that the public can join- the yearly fee is $25 and you will the ability to check-out books with this membership. I imagine it would be cheaper to borrow books through the Salem Public's Interlibrary Loan, but Salem would borrow books from any library that is willing to loan them, not necessarily from our Library.
